Check Class Availability
The Check Class Availability sites reflect the most current information about classes.
- The sites are organized by institution and term
- Information is automatically updated each time you refresh/reload the screen.
- The information is publicly available. You do not need to login to view the sites.
What to use Check Class Availability for
Use the Check Class Availability sites to see how many seats are still available in a class. You can also use it to view course reference numbers, instructors, times, locations, etc.
What you can't use Check Class Availability for
Pre-requisite and other course requirements are not provided for all campuses. You need to look at your Home Institution's Schedule of Classes.
You also can only browse through classes by Subject. You cannot run a search for a specific class.
Using Check Class Availability
To find the Check Class Availability site for a specific campus or term, you may go to the following site:
- Go to Listing of Check Class Availability Sites (See Related Links section)
- Pick the campus and term you want to view. Click on the link.
- You will need to select the term you wich to register in. Click on the link.

You will see a screen that looks like the following (We are viewing the "Frames" screen).
- The left side of the screen will show a listing of subjects. This is your navigation.
- Click on a Subject (e.g. Art, History, Zoology).

Once you select a Subject, you will see the following screen.
- Classes are organized by CRN (Course Reference Number) and Subject/Number (e.g. 31531, ART 101).
- Not all classes are displayed on one screen. Look for a "Next" button at the bottom of the screen.
- Curr. Enrolled - Number of seats taken.
- Seats avail. - Number of open seats remaining for the class.
Note: If the Seats column indicates that the class is full/closed, don't give up! Refer to your Campus Web Site (See Related Links section) for information on Overload policies.

You may also click on the CRN of each class to get detailed information.
