Registration Errors

You may run into Registration Errors as you attempt to register through the web. This sequence will show you the most common errors. If you encounter a Registration Error not included, please contact your Home Institution's Student Services (Admissions & Records) Office (See Related Links section) for assistance.

Note: If you are experiencing a high number of Registration Errors, it is strongly recommended that you complete the Pre-Registration Checklist (See Related Links section).

• If you are able to successfully register for a class (either through Quick or Regular Registration), it will appear under the heading "Current Schedule."
• If a Registration Error occurs, the class will not show up under "Current Schedule."  The Registration Error will appear below your "Current Schedule" of any other classes you may have registered for. 

A "Registration Error" message will appear. This error is preventing you from registering for the class. You will not be able to register for the class until you resolve the problem.

If you get a "Registration Errors" message, you will need to determine what the problem is. Look for the following:

Institution: This is where the error occurs. e.g. "Leeward Community College"
CRN: Course Reference Number. e.g. "63027"
Status: Use this to identify what the Registration Error is. e.g. "PREQ - PREREQUISITE ERROR"
