I Do Not Have a UH Username (or I'm Not Sure)
If you do not have a UH Username and Password, you will not be able to access any online services. This includes MyUH Online, email, and any login needed to access the Student Information System.
If you already have a hawaii.edu account, e.g., tennison@hawaii.edu, then you already have a UH Username. The UH Username is the identifier before the @hawaii.edu (e.g. tennison).
To set up an account or to check on the status of your UH Username, you will need to do the following:
- Go to the Managing Your UH Username link under Related Links. You will see the following screen.
- Click on "Get a UH Username!" on the right side of the screen.

You will see the following Username Request screen.
- Completely fill out the following form.
- Click on "Continue."

If you have correctly filled out the Username Reset form, you will see the following screen. Do the following:
- Indicate whether you want to make your directory information public.
- Establish your Password Reset Questions and Answers.
- Click on the pull down box under "Question 1."
- You will see a variety of questions. Highlight one and select it.
- Provide an answer to the question you selected.
Note: The answer to your questions must be between 5 and 64 characters long. It is not case sensitive. - Choose a different question. Repeat the above instructions for "Question 2."
- Select a Password. Follow the instructions provided.
- Click on "Submit Request."
Remember: Your UH Username and Password are like electronic fingerprints that identify you and let you access student services and records through MyUH. The security of your account depends on how well YOU protect this identity so someone else cannot impersonate you.
If you have successfully established your two Password Reset Questions & Answers and selected a Password, you will see the following confirmation screen.
- Click on "Continue." You will be taken to the UH System web site.
