Registration Errors Glossary
The following are explanations of potential error messages that may be displayed while attempting to register for classes. A recommended course of action is provided for each registration error.

Cannot Drop Last Class
Description: You cannot drop your last remaining class at your home institution via MyUH.
Action: You must process the drop with the Registration Office of your home institution.
Description: This class is restricted to students in a specific college which is not the college you are in.
Action: Consult the Schedule of Classes or catalog for further information.
Description: There is a corequisite for this course which you must take at the same time.
Action:
If the ### is a CRN, then that particular section needs to be registered for at the same time. e.g. CORQ_LSK 97G 32527 – Corequisite is LSK 97G with CRN 32527.If the ### is a course alpha and number, then any section of that course may be used to meet the corequisite requirement. e.g. CORQ_LSK 97G REQ – Please refer to the campus Schedule of Classes or Catalog to find appropriate course sections.
Description: You have entered an invalid Course Registration Number (CRN).
Action: Use the Search for Classes feature, the Class Availability Site, or consult the schedule of classes for the correct CRN.
Description: You are already registered for another section of this course.
Action: Review your Registration Worksheet.
Description: You are already registered for this course and section.
Action: You cannot register for the same class twice. Review your Registration Worksheet.
Institution Time Ticket Restriction
Description: You cannot register at the institution offering the course since it is not your assigned time to register.
Action: Refer to the Registration Timetable (See Related Links section) to find your assigned registration time.
Description: You are not eligible to register for this class unless you have instructor approval.
Action: Contact instructor for approval. Refer to your campus web site for details.
Invalid Subject/Course/Section and CRN Combination
Description: The CRN is invalid or you may not be eligible to register for classes at the institution you selected.
Action: Use the Search for Classes feature, the Class Availability Status Site, or consult the schedule of classes for the correct CRN.
Description: You cannot register for this class because your student level (undergraduate, graduate, etc.) does not meet the requirement for enrollment in this class.
Action: Consult the Schedule of Classes and select a class appropriate for your class level.
Description: Disregard this error message
Action: If you have encountered this registration error, please notify your campus registrar.

Action: Consult the Schedule of Classes, contact a counselor at your home institution to change your major or contact the instructor of the class for special permission.
Max Hours Exceeded due to Academic Standing
Description: You have been suspended or dismissed from the institution that is offering the class.
Action: Please contact that institution for more information.
Description: You cannot register for this course since you will exceed the student credit limit at your home institution.
Action: If you wish to exceed the credit limit, contact a counselor at your campus.
Description: You cannot register for this course because certain prerequisites have not been met or your placement test scores do not allow you to register for this course.
Action: Consult the Schedule of Classes or college Catalog or click on the CRN to view the registration prerequisite requirements. An “N” indicates which requirement has not been met. If you believe you have received this message in error, contact your home institution Registration Office.
Description: You have been suspended or dismissed from the institution that is offering the class.
Action: Please contact that institution for more information.
Registration prohibited at this institution.
Description: The CRN is not valid at the institution you selected.
Action: Please check the institution name and CRN and retry if you've made an error. If institution and CRN are correct, contact the registration office for assistance.
Description: The prerequisite checking is currently disabled.
Action: Try again later or contact the registration office to report the problem.
Description: The course you are attempting to register for overlaps with a course in which you are already registered.
Action: View your weekly class schedule to avoid time conflicts.
